• 1991 to 2008 Senior physician at the O & M surgery clinic at the Bremen Mitte clinic in St.-Jürgen-Straße,
• Holds additional "plastic operations" and "special pain therapy" qualifications,
• since 2003 Official spokesman for the “pain therapy” division at the Board of the German Association of oral and maxillofacial surgeons (DGMKG),
• since May 2008 Worked in the joint O & M surgical practice at the Sternklinik in Bremen,
• since 2009 Director of the "Basic pain therapy competence for O & M surgeons" advance training certification course at the DGMKG’s advance training academy.
