Professional career:

• Born in 1953 in Braunschweig, grew up in Bünde/ Ostwestfalen, in Germany,
• Studied biology, dental medicine and medicine in Kiel, Germany,
• Consultant surgeon training in Kiel, Seattle/USA (Dep. of oral & maxillofacial surgery at the university of Washington) and Arnheim, in the Netherlands,
• Worked as the senior physician at the Bremen-Mitte clinic and as senior physician at the plastic surgery clinic at the Marienhospital in Stuttgart afterwards,
• Since 1998 - Partner at the oral and maxillofacial and plastic surgery joint practice in Bremen,
• 2004 “Implantology specialisation” certification,
• 2008 Qualified in radiation protection for digital volume tomography,
• Charity work as a surgeon in West Africa, undertaking missions in Ghana, Togo and Benin together with Drs. Köper and Lanners.
